Link building and digital PR that’s safe, Irish and earned
Links from trusted websites are still one of the strongest signals Google uses, and mentions on trusted sites are a big part of what makes ChatGPT recommend a business. We earn both the safe way, so they keep working through every Google update.
| Website | Type | Value |
|---|---|---|
| Local news site | Expert quote | High |
| Trade association | Member listing | High |
| Supplier site | Approved installer | Medium |
| GAA club | Sponsor page | Medium |

01 / WHY LINKS
Why links still matter in 2026
A link from another website is a vote of confidence. When a respected Irish site links to you, Google takes it as evidence that you’re real, relevant and trusted.
Links matter for AI search too. ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google’s AI build their answers from websites, directories and lists they trust. Being mentioned on those sites is often what gets a business named in an AI answer. Read how AI tools choose who to recommend.
But not all links are equal. One link from a local newspaper or trade body can be worth more than a hundred from random blogs, and bought links can get you penalised.

03 / QUALITY
Good links vs risky links
A good link
- From a real Irish or industry website
- Relevant to what you do
- Placed in content people actually read
- Sends visitors, not just “SEO juice”
- Earned through PR, partnerships or quality content
A risky link
- From a site that exists only to sell links
- Unrelated topic or foreign spam site
- The same keyword anchor text, over and over
- Bought in bulk (“100 links for €99”)
- From a private blog network (PBN)
Why we never buy links
Google ran spam updates in March, June and September 2026, and link schemes are one of the main targets. A penalty can wipe out years of work overnight. See what changed in 2026.
04 / THE PROCESS
How it works
- Backlink audit
We review the links you already have, flag anything risky, and compare your profile with the three sites ranking above you. - Opportunity list
A list of real, relevant Irish sites where you could earn a mention, ranked by value and effort. - Outreach and PR
We pitch stories, quotes and partnerships, and handle the back-and-forth. - Reporting
Every new link and mention in your monthly report, with its source and type.
05 / PRICING
Pricing
Link building and Irish citations are included in our Growth (€950/month) and Lead Engine (€1,750/month) plans. Standalone digital PR campaigns are quoted after a free audit, because the right approach depends on your industry and competitors.

06 / FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Frequently asked questions
How many links do I need to rank?
There’s no fixed number. It depends on how strong the sites ranking above you are. A handful of relevant Irish links often beats hundreds of weak ones.
How long until new links improve rankings?
Usually one to three months after a link is found by Google, and the effect builds over time.
Can you remove bad links pointing to my site?
We can ask site owners to remove them, and use Google’s disavow tool for clearly harmful links when it’s needed.
Do social media links help SEO?
Not directly, because most social links are “nofollow”. But social activity can lead to real mentions and links on other sites.
Are directory listings worth it?
Only the good ones: Golden Pages, your Chamber of Commerce, trade bodies and industry directories. Mass directory submissions are a waste of money. See our guide to Irish citations.
