EMAIL · AUTOMATION · REPEAT BUSINESS

Email marketing that turns past customers into repeat work

Your list of past customers and enquiries is the one audience you own outright. No algorithm, no ad auction. We set up simple, useful emails that bring people back, ask for reviews and remind them when it’s time to book again.

01 / WHY EMAIL

Why email still works

Social media reach depends on the platform’s algorithm, and ads stop the moment you stop paying. Email goes straight to people who already know you: past customers, people who asked for a quote, people who signed up on your website.

For most small businesses, email isn’t about sending a newsletter every week. It’s about a handful of well-timed automatic emails that do a job: say thank you, ask for a review, remind someone their boiler service or check-up is due, or bring back a customer you haven’t seen in a while.

The emails that pay off first

The review request

Sent a day or two after a job, with a direct link to your Google review form. It’s one of the simplest ways to get reviews coming in steadily. Review guide

The reminder

Annual services, check-ups, renewals and seasonal jobs. A reminder at the right time brings back work you’d otherwise lose to whoever they find first.

The quote follow-up

People who asked for a quote and went quiet. A friendly follow-up a few days later wins back a surprising number of them.

The welcome series

Two or three emails for new sign-ups: who you are, what you do best, and an easy next step.

05 / GDPR & DELIVERABILITY

The rules you need to follow

Marketing emails need permission

In Ireland, marketing emails to individuals are covered by GDPR and the ePrivacy Regulations (S.I. 336 of 2011). In general you need clear consent, with a narrow exception for your existing customers about similar products or services, as long as you gave them a way to opt out when you collected their details and in every email. Buying email lists is a bad idea. The Data Protection Commission has guidance on electronic marketing.

Getting into the inbox matters too. Gmail, Yahoo and Outlook now expect bigger senders to authenticate their email with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, include a one-click unsubscribe link and keep spam complaints very low. We set all of that up as standard, whatever the size of your list.

06 / PRICE

Price

Email marketing is quoted in writing after a free check, because it depends on your list size, your email tool and how many automations you need. It works well alongside the full digital marketing package. All prices exclude VAT.

07 / FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

I don’t have an email list. Where do I start?

Start with the customers and enquiries you already have, where you have permission to email them, and add a simple sign-up option to your website and booking process. Even a small list of past customers is valuable.

How often should a small business send emails?

Most of the value comes from automated emails sent at the right moment. Newsletters are optional. Once a month or once a season is plenty for most local businesses.

Will my emails go to spam?

Not if they’re set up properly. Authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), a clean list, a clear unsubscribe link and emails people actually want are what keep you in the inbox.

Can email help my Google reviews?

Yes. An automatic review request after each job is one of the most reliable ways to get steady, genuine reviews, as long as you ask every customer and don’t offer anything in return.
